I'm Still Here!

For those of you who may have been wondering - I am still here! I realize it has been nearly two months since I last posted anything on this blog. It is not that I have a lack of things to say. Since I have last posted many things have taken place.

One of the major things to take place was the election of the Democratic Candidate for President, Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL). If you have read my prior posts, you know I am not happy about this. So, I won't bother to comment.

Most recently we have had another Illinois splash in the news - this time it is Blagogate as some have begun to call it. The action of selling a seat in the United States Senate is appalling. Perhaps it is no surprise - I'm not really surprised. I am nevertheless appalled and angered by such action. Governor Rod Blagojevich needs to resign immediately and then plead guilty to all charges. It's too bad we closed Alcatraz - for that would be a good place for him to rot in prison!

Now - here we are in the midst of Advent. As I look at the sorry state of the World around us I suspect that the best I can say with full Advent Vigor is - COME LORD JESUS - COME QUICKLY!!!!
